It's cost less to pay at the dealership than here. LOL....
Ah the esteemed dealer! You'd be surprised at the type of people they employ there. Of course there's the master technicians, some of which I plucked from dealer, but there's also the minimum wage guys, and then everyone in between. But for some reason some people believe that just because it says Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, pick your brand in front of the building, that somehow they are better than the independents. If price is your only or of high priority, then they have the B or C tech that will work on your car. They also have 2 different SKU numbers for parts made in America, Canada, or Japan... but they also have SKU numbers for those that are made elsewhere; again so they can appeal to the more frugal customer. And of course if you call the dealer with "Tokyo Auto is charging me $XXX, how much would you charge me to..." then of course they are going to give you the cheaper price. Then when you get there, the other stuff is more.
